My daughter found her love of music with Mr. Tribble's guidance.
She has since moved on from the recorder and clairinet and now takes piano lessons.
In my opinion music is an important part of a child's academics. Please hire enough staff to let the children grow musically and academically.

Save the Music!
Elementary Music teaches more than “just” music!

There really should not have to be a reason to justify keeping a music instructor position. My decision to join band in 4th grade changed my life. That is where I met all of my closest friends and band takes up ALL of my favorite memories from high school. Music is a different way of learning for the brain, which is healthy for it, let alone does it teach you patience, leadership, teamwork, independence etc. This position really needs to stay

The Arts are an important part of the educational system. If you discontinue, you may lose even more enrollment. Families will chose to send their children elsewhere.

Music (band) is fundamental to the academic growth of a child. It is often a creative outlet for those who havent found anything the are passionate about, athletic wise. It is also something that creates more well rounded students. You take that away and you are robbing these children of more than just music. You fail our children.
Fight to keep that program going!
