As a parent of a Grace Brethren student since pre school till 9th grade (two weeks ago) I find the actions of this men dishonest and un Christ like to this students and the parents and have done unrepairable damage to the Grace brethren standing in this community.

The elders do not have an educational background, nor do they know the culture of the school as they do not spend time there. They should resign and refund re-enrollment fees as well as 75% of the football fees the families paid this year for a non season!

I think it’s just so stupid for the church elders to do this to kids in highschool you guys already had your share of highschool experience and now you want to ruin ours it’s just unbelievable picking fights with 15-18 year olds let us get the highschool experience we want not want you want it’s the kids that you’re hurting.

FOOTBALL PROGRAM TEACHES US ABOUT CHRIST WHEN SOME OF US KNEW NOTHING

This program was one of the greatest things that ever happened to me. It was one of the main pillars that taught me to be a man. The struggle, the hardship, the brotherhood, learning of victory and defeat. Nothing else at the school was able to properly teach me about what it means to be Christian.

Dismantling the entire program is idiotic. Not only are they taking the chance to play football from many young men. But they’re also driving many kids away from the school by doing this. I believe whoever made this decision should be held directly accountable for how many students leave the campus in the next year.

Everyone looks forward to their senior year, i am looking forward to my senior year next year. Hearing that there can potentially be no football or cheer season, makes me less excited for my senior year at grace brethren.

Let the boys play! It’s their senior season and it’s unfair to cut off all their hard work and dedication.

LET THE PROGRAM STAY! This is disgusting behavior on the churches behalf.

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever Witnessed. Clearly a church has absolutely no business running a school. I’d really like to know the reasoning behind this decision.

They are making a major mistake. They don't realize the growth in this program. The coaching staff has developed boys into men., and they want to take away our way of glorifying god . . .

I’ve been waiting for my senior year to play football my whole life. Coach Hendo has taught me so much on how to be a man of God. My senior year of football has been canceled due to selfishness from the top.

Hope the decision makers are clearly seeing the efforts these parents and student athletes are working to save a nationally recognized program.
