The taking of public space for private use is wrong. There is no need to do anything to Glenmore as the solution to the "parking problem" already exists - use your drive way for the occasional workman or domestic servant. Ask the city for a permit for the rare big events.

Please support whatever actions will help Baton Rouge become more bicycle-friendly! Every street counts, so let's keep Glenmore friendly to the many many bikers who take that route.

The bike lane is a travel lane, and when it is blocked by cars, trash cans, brush piles, and other obstructions, it creates a dangerous situation for all road users. Not only for people on bikes, but joggers, walkers, moms with strollers, kids on bikes and scooters, and grammy and grampy on their electric mobility devices. Since Glenmore does not have sidewalks, the bike lane is essential for getting around the neighborhood without a car.
