Please keep all bike lane through the entire metro area. We need to make this city more pedestrian safe! If we continue to do this more individuals would walk and cycle rather than get in their car and drive a few blocks to go place!

How does eliminating existing bike lanes comply with Baton Rouge's "Complete Streets" policy. Would Baton Rouge even consider this request if the residents wanted to park in automobile lanes instead?

Shall we also remove the beautiful trees and landscaping to provide more parking on the street? I support residents' right to petition for change - and our right to oppose it.

I'm trying to sign the petiton, but iPetition won't let me. As a cyclist, bike lanes make it safer for both us and auto traffic. We do need more, not fewer here.

These bike lanes need to remain as well as stay clear of parked vehicles. It is dangerous for all concerned otherwise.

Although I'm not a bicyclist, I believe that all of the existing bike lanes in Baton Rouge should remain in place.

I live on Woodside Drive and do not want to see OUR neighborhood bike path removed.

We need these all over the city, at least along divided lane streets (e.g., Stuart Ave.).

I am strongly in favor of the bike lanes. Please do not remove them and do more to protect bicyclists. Dedicated biking and walking lanes would solve many problems, including parking. Thank you, Corby

The bike lanes made Capital Heights a safer and more enjoyable neighborhood to live in. Please do not let us lose this over a misunderstanding or a lack of cooperation on either party.

Bike riding is environmentally friendly, which is something the city council should embrace wholeheartedly. Bike lanes are much safer than intermingling cars and bikes together in the same lanes. Riders use it for recreational purposes, exercise and to decompress from the daily stressers.

The bike lanes should remain as they are also used by walkers. These lanes help slow down traffic as well as a safe place to walk or bike. The yards are large and so residents should be reponsible to park in their own yard and not on street even if no bike lanes. The median should not be touched as this would mean trees cut down which is why so many like this particular area with so many trees. Another point is the folks on Capital Heights who have much smaller yards have lost street parking due to bike lanes and they have no issues.

We need more bike lanes in BR, not fewer! Keep the lanes on Glenmore and Hundred Oaks and add more to every neighborhood! I'd love to ride my bike more, but I'm truly terrified of the traffic and there are very few places in BR where I feel safe from cars on my bike.
