You are all sheep that have been conned into believing something is happening and it isn't! There are no boys trying to play in girls sports in Kearney. None of you seem to entertain the idea that there might be a girl who is very masculine that maybe wants to be on the boy's team. You just freak out when people pass this crap around. You are all so hateful and small minded!

Why does anyone believe that males should ever be able to compete in female sports?? The difference in their biological makeup is proof that males are made differently with much more muscle mass and different hormones that gives them dominance. Should girls give up scholarships, medals, etc., because a guy decides he wants to be a female for competition? I say ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

Protect our girls sports.

Kearney Public Schools needs a clear, common-sense extracurricular policy that recognizes the biological differences between male and female athletes and ensures equal opportunity and fairness. Our district needs to specifically state in written policy that athletes in our schools must play on the team that matches their biological sex from birth. Identities don’t play sports; bodies do. The integrity of the KPS sporting programs must be preserved by each board member recognizing the biological differences between males and females and how these differences affect performance and capacity. KPS board members must support policy that uses biological sex to determine team placement. Additionally, KPS cannot rely on flimsy NSAA guidelines which could still result in biological males competing against female students athletically. KPS must adopt extracurricular guidelines that protect our girls, recognize established biology, and ensure fair competition. The signers of this petition agree with this stance.

Boys do not belong in girls sports no matter what. Biology has proven this to be true

I can't understand why anyone would of sane mind would consider a policy to allow trans to perform in any sport other than biological gender at birth. If a person is transgender it by no means gives them allowance to any opportunities afforded to those of natural birth origin and should be stated so in policy!

It's my parental right and duty to protect my children from all sexual deviation rather it be physically or emotionally. I as a parent should ever have to worry who my children are going to the bathroom with or competing in sport with. You better believe if I can not protect my children from this and all sick sexual deviation we as a family would no longer be part of public schools. I find it very disturbing that good moral people are the minority in this world and that we live in a world that we even contemplate giving the immoral the upper hand or any justice in ones whom are sick sexually, physically or emotionally.

We have a responsibility to protect our girls. If one person is sexually assaulted into the locker room as a result of allowing transgender students in female sports, that transgression is on the supporters who allow transgender students in girls sports.

I support this petition and I support LB 575.

As a parent of a female KHS alum and grandfather of several girls it is imperative that we protect girls athletics.

Whether for the personal satifaction of knowing they have the potential to excel at their sport or to boost self esteem, young women train hard and should never have to compete against a biological male for the honor of knowing all those years of hard work paid off.

There are true, indisputable biological difference between male and female bodies. Please do not allow biological males to compete against biological females!!

KPS Administration and BOE, Please remember your elected positions and educational duties; to be the voice of the people and protect children, based on law and current best practices. Please do not let this proposal pass! The comments in this petition is a clear showcase of where the community stands. I hope you stand behind your community! When responding to this petition, I think of my two nieces, who will be the beneficiaries of this very critical decision. I think about how at just ages 6 and 4 years old, we are already having to question the integrity of their sports careers, as they will be very involved in extra curricular activities, with having a state champion and an active coach as a dad and a state record holder as a mom. We have to advocate on the children’s behalf. Please uphold the integrity and righteousness of their (as well as many, many others; both male and female) sports futures! Each individual gender sports should be limited to compete only for/in their biological sex. Biological males compete against biological males, regardless of how they currently identify, and biological females compete against biological females, regardless of how they identify. When co-ed sports/activities are appropriate, by all means support and encourage those opportunities and relationships. These opportunities; however, are never at a high level of competition; more so for fun and recreational games (ie: community Olympics). The stakeholders in your community have faith in you! That is exactly why you are where you are in this larger-scale system. Please do not disappoint your community. Please do not bring regression to our systems. Please do not let down and fail THE most important stakeholders; the children/students - both male and female. Cheering you on to be brave and bold enough to make the decision you already know to be true and justified!
