Closing this school would be more than tragic. The negative impacts closing this school would have on these children, their families, their teachers, and loved ones would be that of catastrophic measures. Don't make a permanent decision based on a temporary situation. Covid-19 won't last forever, but the affect that closing this school will have on these children's lives, will.

As a parent of a long time student I have come to rely on Giant Steps and it’s trained staff to provide the support my child needs. It’s continued operation is integral to future plans for my child.

I hope we can save this wonderful school and keep distance learning going for these kids. the teachers, parents and children have worked so hard, they deserve this opportunity! A school is much more than a building, but it was the hope that the building would be there after the COVID crisis is over that has keep everyone going, don't steal that hope!!

Edit - My whole life has been Giantsteps, as much as I have fought for my students they have taught me more. I'm pleading for you to keep GS open! We can get through COVID and continue to change lives!

PLEASE SAVE GIANT STEPS! It is a safe place, with staff that cares & helps our disabled to reach their goals , to enjoy life, to learn skills that help them enter into the community with dignity & opportunity. The disabled are the left behind, we should be adding more places like Giant Steps not taking them away.
The Adult programs are worse this was at least a stepping stone to help with that difficult transition. SAVE GIANT STEPS!!! ❤️
