We have Giant Steps in Australia. Giant Steps qualified and experienced staff support not only the child but the whole family. You are a niche in a world of complexity for so many vulnerable children who thrive under your roof. Taking this away creates a mammoth hole in the lives of many. Rethink your decision. I personally know some of the families and the effect your decision will have on their lives.

Giant Steps and the amazing staff, otherwise known as, Angels on Earth, changed the course of my son’s life. It is a magical place where children and parents dreams can come true.

Giant Steps is a very special and unique community. This school was my first job out of college and the strategies, friendships and educational values taught within the walls are still with me today- over 15 years later. I still share stories from my time at GS.
I pray the board reconsiders such an egregious decision. So many students and parents rely on the education and care of the GS professions.

My sister had Downs Syndrome, and needed special schooling. She was taught to read, write and travel on her own. Please help keep this school open so many can thrive!!

This is disgraceful and disgusting! By doing this you’re failing these poor children who need the help . How could you live with yourself doing this to them . Sad
