There must be something that can be done to keep this VIP school open for these children. Please explore all options. Put your heart in it! Make calls all over and write articles to be published in the newspaper.
Let the community know what's happening...maybe they will find ways to help.
There must be a way but it will take effort. If we don't work for our children, there is nothing more deserving for their future!

Giant Steps was my first job in the special education field. Giant Steps inspired me to continue work in this field for many years. To say the staff at Giant steps is impressive is an understatement. Since leaving Giant Steps, I have been blessed with a child with Down Syndrome. I hope when my daughter is of age to go to school, we can find a place in Maryland that’s even half as good as Giant Steps.

My brother has benefited greatly from the GS program. Although he is 17, it is still greatly needed but I am most saddened for the other young children who will not get the benefit of working with such amazing staff who truly love these kids.
