Garlands is a great atmosphere, I rememe going there with my brother for the first time, we met so many great people everyone was just happy and enjoying the loud pumping music, if there were 1 night club I would choose to be on this world it would 100% be garlands

There's only one reason for this ridiculous situation - a witch hunt!! Why else would the most safest trouble free strictest door in Liverpool be brought to its knees ???? Garlands is venue known from far and beyond for its amazing reputation, ppl travel from all over to come and see for themselves what ppl are talking about and come back again and again ?!!! It's absolute insanity to close a thriving business for the city itself bringing hundreds every wk just to visit this venue alone ??? It has an atmosphere second to money like any other ive ever experienced .when they chose the slogan "there's no place like home"they couldn't have summed it up anymore accurately because that's exactly how it is. 2 ppl arrested and for that the clubs future in jeopardy??? Let's hope the police don't take this attitude right across the board from pubs/bars/restaurants etc because it's going on in every leisure venue and it will never stop !!!

It's a club. It's a theatre. It's a safe haven for many and the most trouble free place in town. Don't close Garlands!

There is nothing that goes on in Garlands that doesn't go on in every club, not only in the UK but in the majority of western civilisation. The club is being picked on as the venue is needed to be bought out alongside the other buildings adjoining. As with most things in politics there is usually another reason for such extreme things like this happening. This is incredibly unfair and will leave a lot of people who hold this iconic club dear in their hearts very unhappy.
