garlands is like a home to everyone!!! Thursday and Saturday would never be the same without them. It's amazing to go to a club and everyone can be themselves and the interesting themes they always have, I can walk around with barbie doll like when I was five and no one judges me. All the people from different city's that just come down for a night in garlands. Maybe just up the security and make it a safer environment . No close it down.

how the authorities think that by shutting the venue down will eradicate any drug use is beyond me. It's endemic with night clubs and is the reason that clubs like Garlands have 10; 20 or 30 times less police supervision than your box standard fun pub/bar.

Garlands is a safe place! A fun place and a place where ANYONE can be themselves, a select few have ruined it with drugs but you will find drugs at any club you go to, agreed action needs to be taken but the closure of garlands is NOT the appropriate action, don't let a select few ruin it for thousands of others.
