I have been going to Garlands with my friends for 10 years - not ONCE have I seen any trouble in side or in the surrounding area. Passion on the other hand is a completely different story! I firmly believe that most clubs in liverpool as sad as it is have drugs on the premises without or some with consent. In my opinion, the police should look at the clubs that are well known for violence and anti social behaviour in favour of a place that is a welcoming change to liverpool clubbing scene.

to whom it may concern, I first went to garlands in 2003 once wasn't enough I went every wkend for a while it's like a second family home in there, never have I seen any trouble it's fantastic music and friendly people. I've since moved to Australia and there is no place like it I wish to come back to uk this summer and garlands is on top of my list 10 yrs later. I have not found any other club I have to revisit for memories again. It would be a huge loss if it closed to me and couldn't think of a better club. It's true to its word for music lovers, entertainment, dancing and socializing always walking out happy. Please reconsider!!!

I've been goin to Garlands for 20 YEARS!!! MET all my best friends there and had the pleasure to work and be part of the mOSt wonderful, creative fun explosive team/club ever. DO NOT SHUT THE LAST SUPER CLUB IN ENGLAND!!! LONG LIVE GARLANDS COS I WANNA DO THAT DOOR ONE MORE TIME. LOVE TO MY OLDEST FRIEND FROM SARAH EMANUEL XXXX

Regarless of what may or may not go in there, the point of the matter is that Garlands is a 100% safe enviroment for all who wish to experience it. Not once have I ever seen a fight OR felt intimidated. What happens in garlands happens almost everywhere else on the clubbing scene the difference being you wont be at risk of aggression, violence or abuse in there.

Spent some of the best nights of my life there. It is so safe, so welcoming, never any trouble, and a credit to the city. The police have been so heavy handed. There must be a better way to sort this out than permanent closure. It will create a huge hole in Liverpool's nightlife

i have been going to Garlands for the past 18/19 years and enjoy the happy, friendly atmosphere and not once have I seen any trouble or blatant drug taking.
