This is more deplorable thinking by the Council. As a frequent user of the Central Hall, it has been great reassurance that a secure park is available, in a very insecure area, to leave a car and to find it still there and undamaged on return. THINK AGAIN.

These people l know have to go somewhere but putting them in the middle of the town is asking for trouble. Put them I’m a field miles from anywhere and they’ll mess that up. How about somewhere up Humberstone. Avenue. There’s plenty of open spaces near the new houses that’s going up.

The plans for using this area as a Traveler site threatens the future of the historic Grimsby Central Hall.

It's a crazy idea, people are trying to make a success of the venue.

Anything that means that that carpark is not available for oatrons of Grimsby Central Hall would be the death knell of the hall as a cultural venue in the area. The acoustic there is fantastic and it is the only large venue suitable for live classical events.

My family originates fromGy and I have many fond memories of visiting Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles & Cousins there. We still regularly visit an Aunt in Grimsby and have sadly watched the decline of the town over the years

About as sensible as building towns new ground on the site of the flats.

Think about our communities needs, local rate payers, not travellers who contribute nothing!

The travellers do need a site to call home but due to the negative effect of placing the site here, especially on Central Hall & the future regeneration of Freeman Street I urge the council not to use this carpark.

I cannot see the travellers using this car park ! Hopefully. They will ignore it and venture nearer to cleethorpes and to green sites. Got great memories of the Youth Orchestra at Central Hall. People need somewhere safe to park . Good Luck with your petition x

As a user of both the central hall and the local area shops I believe this site should not be considered for the use of travellers as it would have a depremental effect.
Why have the shortlisted choices concentrated on the most deprived areas of the town rather than providing the areas with much needed positivity to help them regenerate thrive and grow again :(
There must be areas in town where the travellers would have less negative impact.
