On June 28, 2016, Friend to Friend was jeopardized when a small minority of the twelve-member Board of Directors (three members of the Executive Committee) without notice and sufficient cause asked for Anne Friesen's resignation. Please join us in supporting the continuation of Anne's outstanding service as Executive Director.
As many of you know, for seven years, Anne has expanded the awareness and financial support of this critical community service aiding many of the most vulnerable members of our society who endure domestic abuse and violence.
By signing this petition you are pledging your support of Anne's continuation as Executive Director of Friend to Friend and agreeing that the three dissenting and divisive board members should resign.
Only in this way can Friend to Friend move forward with a cohesive board of directors and the strong leadership required to uphold the level of services which are characteristic of this fine organization.

I have requested a formal meeting with the remaining board members to discuss the instability caused by these recent personnel decisions. The response from the community has provided the necessary leverage to demand transparency regarding the current leadership crisis at Friend to Friend.

Whatever a few board members' concerns are, to act when at least two officers were not present is not ethical. Anne has done wonderful things for F2F and deserves much better treatment than this.
Have known Anne both as a student and friend. Have witnessed her efforts to get this organization going. Have supported her efforts through my church outreach division. You will no doubt lose this organization with this move. Keep Anne.
There is no other individual more committed, more dedicated to the mission of Friend to Friend than Anne Friesen. To release Anne as Executive Director is an irresponsible decision, one that places its clientele in serious jeopardy.
Further, I have served on Boards for 10 years...I have never heard of any bylaws which would allow for this kind of action. This type of behavior DISCOURAGES members of our community from doing volunteer Board work.
I would not have even known about friend to friend without Anne. Anne has changed how this community sees and helps abused women. It is so sad that individuals on a board can attempt to destroy one reputation without even informing other board members. Think very wisely

As a member of the Board of the Moore Co. Community Foundation I have had association with Friend to Friend and Anne Friesen. She IS Friend to Friend and the reason for its success
