If the town of Sudbury is going to thrive we need to make it easy for people to visit. People are drawn to towns with free parking.

Businesses are struggling enough as it is. Less footfall due to parking charges is a another nail in the towns coffin!

We live in Layham if we come into Hadleigh to shop or dine unless the premises have parking we will be restricted to going elsewhere.

Clear example of profits before people again. I was reading about this in the local paper the other week and I was pleasantly surprised to learn of the young lad who made the effort to setup a petition against this and the plans for the local park. Really felt for him when I read that all of his efforts were just rejected by the council.

In a time when people and businesses are struggling to survive, As we try and keep Sudbury a thriving and amazing town To inflict this charge is just ludicrous.

Without this I am a lot less likely to come to Sudbury to shop. I might as well go to Colchester where there are more shops

Charge for parking and there I’ll be fewer and fewer people using Sudbury and then fewer and fewer shops, even less revenue. Not rocket science.
