Forest Lake's current city council has decided to cut nearly $600,000 from the city's budget, a budget that was already lower than the budgets of comparable cities. These reckless and unnecessary cuts will hurt the city's ability to serve its residents. By signing this petition, I state that I disagree with these cuts. I want to live in a safe, well-maintained city. I recognize the cost of living in a safe and well-maintained city, and I am happy to help pay for these costs through my tax dollars.
