Can't believe this, the cheek of Wigan Council! The hard work from volunteers in Leigh got this cafe up and running and what a fabulous job they have done. Say NO to the council and let it stay as it is, these people deserve better!

Since the tearooms opened the park has become a community venture. The "Friends" have worked to promote local causes which have gone from strength to strength. Hope we drum enough support to turn this around.

I think the volunteers have been doing a fantastic job and the cafe is just what the community needs. There is no sense in not allowing it to continue as it is.

The FOPHP and Cafe has revitalised the park to a glory that was not being delivered without... It would be a travesty in the age of community DEALS for the community to be deprived of the good work undertaken by the FOPHP.

Lovely little tearoom and a real knock to the community of this is taken over by somebody else. The tearoom is all about the people that give their time to run it and the love that goes into it.
