Taking this venue away from these volunteers would be at a complete disadvantage to the local community. They have built so much engagement in the area, provide an outstanding service to local residents. This has included providing Christmas lunches for lonely pensioners in the area, endless affordable activities for children and families, education and focus on local history and heritage. To take this away would be ayba huge loss and would be against everyrhing our MP tells us is important to this town.

I love it here, sometimes its best to try and not fix what isnt broken, the volunteers are doing a great job, and it is benefitting the whole comminity, more than can be said for any private enterprise!!! It would be a disgrace if someone took over this and didnt run it at the same high standards

Let's just shut everything in Leigh?!? I've past many times and it's slowly becoming a part of the community... that's something which we just don't see anymore - whoever made this decision has no morals

keep the cafe they do a great job. it's clean the food is good and the staff are lovely. why even think of putting it out to tender. don't fix what isn't broken
