Being a part of Tastic's second year in Fleet was an utter joy, and getting to see all the work they did to boost local business and charities made me even more proud. But best of all was the enthusiasm that surrounded it, especially amongst the younger cast and audience members. The love they clearly had for being involved in the process, both onstage and off, was very clear indeed. It'd be a shame for that spirit of fun to fade away. Here's hoping that the Fleet Panto, in the hands of Amanda and co., can return in one form or another - it wouldn't be right without them.

Amanda's hard work brings so much fun to the town at Christmas and money into local businesses. If the council haven't made any money from it or made a loss (I don't know the figures) they should see it as an investment in our town.

Fleet panto is one of the best I have seen - a fully professional show, yet with the community spirit of the local village hall show. I just can't understand the logic in cancelling something that was bringing so much joy and friendship to the community!
