The existing equestrian path has actually not been maintained and is rarely used. The current path is so close to the Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church Child Development Center playgrounds that you can hear when people are on the trail. I fear that if the trail gets built and widened that there will be an increased risk to the safety of the 150 children attending the CDC. There is an abundance of wild life living within the woods. I also fear that with the increase of people that the wild life will be run off. What an amazing teaching moment we have to teach these 150 children about conservation and the saving of our woodlands. I ask you to vote NO to the path and Yes for our Children.

Please leave the East side of Flag Pole Hill alone. As a cyclist, I have ridden many laps up the road to the top of Flagpole Hill. What purpose would a trail on the East side serve? That stand of trees is a nice buffer from Northwest Hwy, and there are already plenty of trails in the area.

I like Bobcats and I don't want them anywhere near my pets, not to mention roadways. No cuts for woodlands....

I just moved my horse to that area specifically for the wonderful and natural trails available. This particular trail area is my go-to trail because it works exactly for the time frame I have after work. I will be devastated if this is no longer available.

One of the special things I remember about growing up and hanging out at Flag Pole Hill was that it was like a mini nature preserve. Please do not expand the trails and ruin this inner city woodland area.
