Why turn this park, which can be enjoyed by everyone, into a 3G astroturf that can only be enjoyed by a small group of people (who will most likely end up paying to use it anyway)?

Locals need their park, this is one of the few area paid by our taxes thatbremain enjoyable for everyone. Stop killing the few social connectors.

I always used this park when I was younger, it was much less greener then, now it has matured, it would be a sad loss if the grass pitches went!

Too many parks are disappearing.We need open spaces to walk our dogs,let children play or just have a stroll.We can't keep losing our parks.

We use this park almost daily, year round and it is a well used public green space for families, dog walkers, kids and adults doing sport. It is precious and needed for all our community and provides our corner of London with 'lungs'! Please do not destroy this green area.

My parents , grandparents , aunts , uncles in fact most of my family lived in latchmere grove now banana park . This historic place must not be turned into a football pitch.

Please save Falcon Park if you take away all our natural spaces to build houses, where will the people be able to go and view nature at its best.

Falcon Park enjoys mixed use by all local residents. Whether that is for dog walking, exercising, picnics and of course the football club at the weekend. I searched the Wandsworth council website etc and can find very little information on the 3G pitch and changing room facilities, let alone a planning application, and yet it seems to have been approved by the council? I question the validity of the public consultation process. Having said that I also understand the need to provide good sport facilities for all local residents. I agree that falcon park provides a hidden gem of green space, however the neighbouring Shillington Gardens has sufficient space. is already quite developed with a play ground and out door exercise equipment, as well as providing ready access to the two schools. To me, this is a suitable compromise that equitable and fair to all users.

I remember the creation of Falcon Park as a means of relieving urban congestion and providing more green space, and it is vital for the area that it is preserved as a grassed area.

As a local resident I feel very passionate that we are allowed to keep our green space. This is so important to detress from the fast pace of city life, not to mention the flora and fauna we will be about ot lose. Many local residents us the park for recreational puposes, including exercising, picnincs, relaxing etc. Along with many others, I also socialise both myself and my dogs in this park, and feel utterly devastated to learn that this is threat. I work very hard, long hours in a stressful role and LOVE Faclon Park and all it currently offers. Please do not destroy this.
