where will I walk my dog that's safe and away from main roads? Ridiculous if it's replaced. I will be very disappointed!

After dealing will Cllr Jonathan Cook and Paul McCue at WBC on related matters at Battersea Park, my experience has been that they see Wandsworth parks as money generators first above the needs of the local citizens. My guess is that astroturf will bring in revenue.

I used the park everyday to Boris bike through to Clapham Junction. It's a good London park and works as it is. I don't recall a consultation about a change of use, so support this petition.

Preserve this wonderful green space for the local community. This astroturf pitch is plonked right in the middle and essentially spoils the whole. Battersea Park has lots of astroturf football facilities.

It's ridiculous and out of order.i grew up playing here and my dog has made lots of new friends here.its the only park my little disabled brother can play in as its very safe.we need to win this.

I use this park to walk my dog (a LOT of peole do that). A football pitch would ruin the park. Can't they go play football someplace a few miles further out where they have more land?, someplace like Twickenham or Merton???

I live in Battersea and have spent many happy days in Falcon Park. With the giant astro turf available in Battersea Park I see no need for this lovely local park to be ruined and set aside for football. It would be a real shame for the community to lose this lovely little space away from the crowds.
