Who has made the decision to tear down this wonderful example of can do spirit? New and shiny is certainly not always better. When we start messing with what little vernacular architecture we have that has escaped the madness of “modernization” we are doomed. Please - whoever can prevent this from happening please step forward and loudly say “no” we like and appreciate what we already have!

Wow. This place is still standing and in very good condition but they won't go after building that are old, rotten and barely standing, like the O'Connor building.. that building is falling apart but they won't touch that. They better not touch this building none whatsoever. At least people are still using this building and it's in good condition.

Est-ce qu’il n’y a pas moyen de valoriser au lieu de faire disparaître?

I really hope that this piece of history can stay the same. It was a huge part of my childhood at the Ormstown Fair, the crafts and other small business stands. It wouldn't be the same without that building.

It is very important to preserve and treasure buildings that show us our path, where we are from, and where we are heading.
