Students and staff use this shop regulalry. It is an essential service. The univeristies need to negotiate with either Essentials or another provider to keep this business

We need to do all we can to maintain/increase student satisfaction/experience. Removing valued services would be a step in the wrong direction.

Just like a lot of other colleagues I have to say that it is ridiculous. Our campus degrades as time passes and instead of making things better they just get worse. Those who have been in Canterbury Campus of Kent University they will agree that we cannot even compare ourselves with them. Small minds rule this place!!!!

The Campus shop is and always has been a key facility for staff and students on campus. To lose this would be detrimental to the available facilities in the area. It is some considerable distance to the next available retail outlet and we often do not have time during the working / teaching day to obtain those key essential and often urgent items. Please keep our shop.

Does anyone know who actually made this ridiculous decission as it is totally without logic or thought of the staff and students who have to use the Medway campus. Is it a joint University thing or 1 particular Uni?
Which ever it is it is one of the worse ever made at Medway - and there have been quite a few....
This is an essential resource for the Campus.
