Save Equine Osteopathy in Texas
The Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners desires to take away equine owners’ rights to determine who works on their animals – thus it is trying to make this decision for the equine community at large. If a chiropractor or osteopath, or any other form of alternate therapy contractor, is not a licensed veterinarian, then The Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners is attempting to ban those individuals that are chiropractors, osteopaths, and/or other therapy contractors. The Board is passing these laws without making them public beforehand so that the public does not have a chance to have its voice heard. By having equine owners first get an examination from a licensed veterinarian – then the Board is taking the choice out of equine owners’ hands as to who treats their animals and what they want their animals treated for.
