This would be a huge loss to the community if this centre was to close. Please keep it open!

The Wells Centre is well named. It is the centre and focal point for the Wells Community. Families, the old and the young all benefit. Do not close it down.

I use the Wells centre for pre-school, ballet classes, and Zumba. It would be a great loss to the whole community if it was to close.

It was the RA councillors who insisted on providing such an expensive building to replace what was there before. They ignored all warnings about the running costs. However, this is a much needed resourse for both for the elderly & young who live in the area

It is also worth noting that the very thing that makes the Wells estate (including the Woodlands Road area) so pleasant to live in (its relative independence from the Epsom conurbation) is the very thing that makes the centre so valuable to those that could be suffering from social isolation.

This is a vital centre to so many. Epsom can't just keep building more houses without thinking of our overstretched services such as the hospital, GP surgeries and schools.

Funny how the country and the boroughs have all this money for refugees, yet they can't afford to keep a community centre open... maybe they're closing it to make way for refugee housing instead.
