this centre has been invaluable to bringing up my daughter in Epsom. Total shame for it to be shut down

To save funds by cutting out the heart of a small community is a false economy, and in any event runs against what life is all about.
Looked at in pure financial terms, it is likely to cost money rather than save it in the long run. providing a centre for people to meet, and the elderly in particular, enables them to keep in touch and keep an eye on each other, giving early warning of pending problems, and potentially avoiding much more expensive interventions later.
The Wells centre should be kept open.

A hub of the community and a lifeline to some, it would be criminal to close The Wells Centre!

Local community resources such as this are are a valuable asset. Unfortuately many only see short term financial gain and not well being of the local community.
We love playing hide and seek at the playground and my daughter attends ballet lessons there every week. It is a really valuable space and it would be such a loss to all of us!

This centre is essential to the community. If it's closed where will people go instead? It is a very active centre and if it's closed, it will be a travisty.

My grandparents use this centre a great deal. It's a great place for the residents of Wells Estate to socialise. And plays a vital role in keeping the elderly residents active.

The centre is an essential resource that is a focal point for many activities for residents who are unable go elsewhere. To close it would be tantamount to a prison sentence for many elderly residents who would become isolated and lonely

Please save the wells centre. My daughter went to pre school there and so many children from the wells use the pre school. There is also an active church there as well which serves the wells and lots of other elderly services, birthday parties and the Jam Academy also. Many elderly people on the wells use it and families and it will make life a lot harder for many if they have to travel elsewhere.

This is a fantastic centre for the community and should stay. My young cousins do ballet here and use the playground. I have also visited the centre several times and hope it can stay part of his wonderful community.

This is the only community venue on the Wells. Those without transport are completely isolated in the evenings and at weekends. Without the centre there will no longer be a Christians worshipping community on the Wells.
