This town is rapidly becoming a ghost town the only decent butchers is the one on the market there's no decent fish stalls I would pay that bit extra for decent meat and fish not stuff from supermarkets that are full of water the market is this towns heritage if this goes then there's no life left in ellesmere port.

HEARTBREAKING !!! To see this market go downhill so fast , as a trader here for 27yrs the footfall is abysmal , no customers to be had on most businesses and traders are struggling to survive , we need help with our rents to survive . This is the only time traders have pleaded with the council for help in all the years I've been here . Unprecedented times and it's all fell on deaf ears , Just not good enough , Please support your community market ...USE IT IR LOSE IT !!!

I completely support this petition as the potential loss of Ellesmere Port Market would be a huge blow to the people of Ellesmere Port and surrounding area in very challenging times.

With the market in our town.. there will not anywhere for people to shop as we only got major retail supermarket in town and few small retailers.. I support and sign this petition good luck.

A marvellous place, loads of small traders. A vital part of the economy in Ellesmere Port and fills a gap that larger stores can’t. Not to mention the impact on individuals if they can’t continue trading

It makes sense to help market traders through this difficult time. Better to get some rent than none. If some people give up, you will not easily replace them. There are already empty units. The market attracts people to the town centre. Do the right thing.
