Save Ellesmere Port Market - Extend rent support for traders until December 2020

Ellesmere port needs a market

Ellesmere Port market is an integral part of the community. we need to keep this essential asset to our community x

Market traders shouldnt pay anything the council make enough money off the car park. Where does all the money go that they make on the car parks don’t see it being used anywhere of use in the port ie lower council tax etc.

Ellesmere Port has always had a market, I was born here. Who ever owns the space be it private or local authority should be willing to help.

Surely it would be detrimental to CWAC if the market closed due to loss of revenue?

We need to work hard to keep small businesses going - come on CWAC help them out

It's only the Market that keeps The Port going!!!!

I was born n bred in Port and remember the old market playin as kids on a Sun on the empty stalls !! Always smell of fish as u walked in . Fab market , dnt close it build it up better xxx

Ellesmere port town centre can't afford to lose any more traders. It's fast becoming s ghost town

The market is an integral part of the port and would be sadly missed

Need to save our Local markets which are utilised by so many local residents

Good stalls and cafes on the market it be shame to loose all that

Ellesmere port could be a thriving community if people pull together. The council need to support the small businesses and encourage businesses into the area. It is short sighted not to give a rental reduction, there will be enough people out of work and struggling.

Every effort should be made to support local trade!

Support the underdogs

This is a lovely, friendly market, please carry on supporting it.

Give traders a break! The place has been over taken by corporation conglomerates. The soul was ripped out of the port a long time ago and this is the only bit of personality left here.

Market traders need some support

Please support the market traders at this difficult time .
