I've been coming to this market since I was a child and I still love the place. My nan used to enjoy the market and it needs to stay open so others can enjoy it too. The traders are all so lovely and helpful, they deserve every bit of help that's available.

Please save our market I agree it is the heart of our town and a very good market I often get asked by people in town what days it is open as they have travelled to visit it from nearby places

The market is vital to Ellesmere Port not becoming a ghost town. It is a place where people meet and is necessary for people’s well-being and mental health as well as being a great place to shop.

It's a disgrace. Ellesmere port and Neston Borough Council hang your heads in shame. We love our Port market.

Ellesmere Port Market was once a fantastic place that created hundreds of jobs from small businesses. Since the build of the large new ASDA in the early 2000s and the introduction of parking charges it has struggled ever since. Such a shame to see all this lost to self check outs..... This market requires aid to restore it back to its former self.

This is a disgrace by the council in the Port considering other markets in Wales and the North West have had their rent frozen and especially considering it's a Labour council. Do the right thing they're only trying to eke out a living
