Save Ellenbrook Country Park

I support creating the Ellebrook Country Park and I am strongly opposed to the Quarrying and Housing Development on this site which should be available to all to enjoy as a natural habitat

I want my grandchildren o have green space to play on

"In 2000, Welhat and St Albans Councils secured Ellenbrook Fields as a green space as part of the planning permission granted for the development of Hatfield Business Park by Arlington". A trust for the park was to be set up. In the intervening years, the councils have done their best to bury the matter of the trust, and refused to address it, for obvious reasons. In 2017, the Goodman Group and Legal & General sold their UK business, Arlington Properties, to TPG Capital, based in Texas. In summary, council and corporate scheming and greed takes priority over the quality of life of local residents.

Our wildlife is so very important...as are promises!!! Leave well alone please!!!

I fully support this petition, there is too much new home development that the current infrastructure cannot handle. Also the Medical services are overstretched as it is without any more residents.

I am in full support of this petition. People have chosen to live in an area with open space not concrete jungles. The Country Park needs to go ahead as planned.

Bromate pollution needs to be fully investigated before anything else can be considered

To much of or countryside is being over developed. Arlington should keep the agreement it made.

I totally support the Ellenbrook Area Residents Association in this petition and in their campaign to protect Ellenbrook fields.

Open green spaces are vital in this area given the number of high density houses and large number of businesses which generate heavy traffic, especially of large lorries. The people living and working in this area need the benefit of this open space.

All Effort should be made to retain some of the Green land in the area. I totally support this petition.

The business park gets busier and we residents are desperate for open spaces. Please ensure we get the Country Park we were promised!

This space is needed for running and dog walking - please make it into a Country Park as promised!

Ellenbrook Country Park is part of the natural community landscape and as a resident of the local area, I feel as if my rights to enjoy it are being stripped of the proposed planning goes ahead.

We must ensure that this area remains open not only for public access but to protect the wild life that has been growing there for at least the past ten years

We should fight to preserve our dwindling open spaces

This is a well used and enjoyed local amenity, the establishment of which as a country park has long been promised - a promise that has, thus far, not been kept. Please ensure that this promise is kept and that the land is made a park and continues safely as such for local use. Thank you.

This area already has inadequate infrastructure without any further development

We need to preserve the green areas and the diversity of animals that live in Ellenbroke park for future generations.

Please keep this area undeveloped. It is a wonderful place to walk dogs and relax.
