With so much local Green Belt under threat from planners it is sheer madness to consider yet another application for development on a Country Park used by walkers and parkrunners, with trails, bridleways and footpaths out to other rural areas.

I am concerned about plans for this land including the cumulative impact of overdevelopment in the area and the potential irreversible impact any development may have on the Bromate contamination and our water supply.

SOS, on behalf of local residents has fought tirelessly to protect those green fields and the land that was left in trust for the community. Now we have the opportunity to force the developer to listen to the concerns of Ellenbrook protect our beautiful environment

More housing would almost join up Hatfield and St Albans. This will cause loss of essential open space between settlements and do irreparable harm to the wildlife that has become well established on the site.

This proposed development will have environmental impact to residents within this area in terms of excessive traffic and possible contamination of water supply. An impact assessment should be carried out by both the county council and WHBC taking in consideration how constituents can be physically affected and the detrimental effect on the environment.

This location is important to the local community, encouraging people to get out and be active, lessening the strain on the NHS. It also impacts on the communities mental health. Hatfield needs open space where the community can get into nature. What it doesn't need is more housing causing a strain on the infrastructure which is already at its limit.

Please consider there is not the health services or schools to support 1100 new homes at Ellenbrook.
