Already tonnes of office space in Derry - an empty science park in Springtown and another being built at Fort George! Keep the Ebrington site as a Gallery!

It would be such a shame to lose this space and set the city back after such a great year. Let's not make the efforts of so many go to waste.

Ebrington has brought a lot to this city in the last year and it would be a terrible shame to take the potential it has for more entertainment in the future.

As the second biggest city in the North/Northern Ireland - it is shameful that we do not have a permanent venue nor a world class gallery.

I hope Derry City Council will review and reverse the decision to turn Ebrington Gallery into office space. The legacy of City of Culture should be to keep the city as a cultural hub and not just a year that is 'remembered'. What better legacy than to allow an existing world class gallery space to remain in situ and continue to operate as just that? Please reconsider the current plan.

Need to keep the galleey as a gallery. There is enough office space. Keep the culture alive and attract people to visit the city. Therefore generating more income for the city in the long run.

This space is more than a Gallery. Transformed .. Once base of British Parachute Regiment .. This year became a place of laughter, dance. Celebration, fireworks, Xmas trees , not to mention global stage of the Turner Prize, but most importantly it was a place taken back by a community for the community , to come together..... Don't let a few short sighted suits turn it into offices... The North West, Donegal too, needs this space.. Future generations need this space..... Thank you for sharing.. I'm passionate about this ..I guess you can tell..:-)
