Stop project housing. New residents are not paying taxes but our streets look like swiss cheese with the potholes!

Stop the projects. Go build in River Oaks or the Heights ...oh wait, they don’t want them there either.

Yes, the East End has more than their share of low income housing. All property owners should be paying property taxes and follow all rules.

This just does not make any sense.... the Housing Authority needs to pay market prices, adhere to HUD regulations, and pay property taxes.

We all need to protest this development!! More low-income housing will drastically reduce our property values and make sure that our area stays stagnate for another 20-30 years.

We are residents of Bayou Landing, and owners for fifteen years. We have much enjoyed the positive development of the area since we purchased our townhome. The HHA's improperly proposed projects will greatly reduce development options for this important part of near-downtown Houston.

Low-income housing should be developed throughout Houston... it is unfair that our current politicians want to segregate the areas of HOUSTON!! Sign the petition and let our elected officials know we are unhappy with this kind of treatment in our area!!!

Low-Income housing is something every city needs, but the burden MUST be spread around to all residents and taxpayers. The East End can not and will not carry the burden for everyone else. In fact, the concentration of low-income housing in one area of the city amounts to segregation. A federal lawsuit for these racist policies should be forthcoming!
I live on Paige St. I want to sign the petition.
