I have been apart of this school since it was first built, to tear it down will be like tearing a piece of my family apart, no school can make you feel at home like East Bay Arts does. Please save EBA

I graduated from EBA almost three years ago (2013). I will admit, it's not like I was happy 24/7 there, but I'm where I am at, and I am who I am because of this school. EBA is the reason I'm working towards my AA in technical theatre and doing theatre. It's the reason I've become who I am. It's the reason I have the amazing friends I do.
East Bay Arts is more then a school , it's somewhere to feel safe, and be yourself , which larger schools can't say they are/do

My nephew grew as a person and an artist at EBA.He now attends a university in music and the arts. Please, kids need this school. Music and art help kids heal and grow and gives them something to believe in! Please don't take EBA away.

Words can not express how much I treasure this school. To the district, the closure of East Bay Arts is strictly business. But to us students and former students, we see this as an attack to our family. This is more than just business. It's personal and we won't stand to see them do wrong to our home, our safe haven. Don't let them do this. Everyone, please. Support this effort for East Bay Arts, our 2nd family and home.
