Two good schools both with excellent reputations. To amalgamate such schools is a ludicrous and totally irresponsible proposition made by people who do not put childrens education first .

This school has been a constant in my life since 1979 when I started here until last year when my youngest finished. I'm hoping my grandchildren will go here too and I haven't got any yet!
I started at Eagleswell when it was built and have many happy memories and friends from there...

Leave it as it is couldn't imagine Llantwit without eagles well so much history

fantastic school, should not be closed! classes are too big already and ham lane will not cope with all the children and traffic! it will be a tragedy to amalgamate them!

As this was my primary school for my whole childhood life, where I met friends I still have today it would be an extremely sad occasion to see it no longer there. Hope people realise that this place means a lot to a lot of people. :-)

Ham Lane will be chaos if this merger goes ahead...think of the all the schools parents, children and the residents if this goes ahead.

I was in the first cohort of children to go to Eagleswell, over 40 years ago. It would mean a long walk for many children.

Losing Eagleswell will be very impactive on the local community. And why replace it with housing? I know the answer is money but thats not good enough, if a community asset is lost it should be replaced by something else like a community centre for classes or clubs to use. I also thought the council had put a moratorium on building further housing within the town boundaries, or do those rules not apply when they are to gain financially.

While I value the wonderful job all of the primary and junior schools in the area provide I must acknolwedge the wonderful work of all at Eagleswell. I was a one time student there and for a long period of time a resident in the locality. The community spirit and contribution of all the staff and students to the local community is immeasurable and were it to end due to closure it would be a sad loss for the community as a whole. It is the only school serving that region of the town and as such I believe it to be imperative that the school remains its own independent body. I hope you will take the time to read this view and the views of all concerned

The school is wonderful and it is ideally located. Access to the proposed new site would be a nightmare. SAVE THE SCHOOL
