Eagle Tower is a fondly-remembered part of my childhood, and also a small piece of history. It would be a sad day if it were torn down.

We've been climbing the tower ever since I was a kid over 50 years ago. Please restore it, don't tear it down. So other kids can enjoy it for the next 50 years.

I climbed this tower for the first time in 1981 as a young girl; I was terrified! Every year my family subsequently visited Door County I've climbed that tower with less and less fear. The beauty of the land is unparalleled from the decks, and the challenge to achieve the climb was a key parental coaching moment in my upbringing. I would like the opportunity to impart the same experience to my child. Please save this tower.

The parking area adjacent to the tower is always busy with people who want a beautiful view. It's crazy to not rebuild it. Please rebuild it.

I live in northern Door County and buy the annual pass so I can take guests to the parks. I miss being able to climb the tower for the incredible view of the bay and peninsula and showing friends the beauty that explains why I live here. Please repair the tower.
