Peninsula Park is the crown of Door County parks but it's jewel is the view from that tower. It should be saved/repaired or rebuilt to continue the high standard of naturally beautiful visas that are a major draw for tourism in our area. If lost, it will truly make a difference in a negative way...

This is one of the most popular attractions in the area with a storied history. It MUST be saved. AND, it's value to the local tourism can not be undervalued.

Eagle Tower is such an iconic part of Peninsula State Park. I first climbed it over 50 years ago and have climbed it uncounted times since then for the spectacular view of the bay. If it can't be preserved ...it must be replaced.

The Eagle Tower is an iconic and important part of the entire Door County Peninsula. It's not just a part of the park, it's part of the Door County story that's drawn millions to the entire Door Peninsula.
