What a shame it would be to loose a landmark, tourist attraction and heritage.... to many times we give up the great things in life just because of cost..

The State can see fit to help finance the preservation of the Northern Hotel in Green Bay. How many people will actually benefit from that versus Eagle Tower. Or the financing of the Milwaukee Buck Arena where for the most part only sports fans will benefit. And the list can go on and on as you well know. But our Wisconsin State Officials can't see fit to save an Iconic landmark, “The Eagle Tower”. It seems we preserve so many of these types of places where not even half as many people visit benefit from them. It is the main reason many people make the trip through the park. I would say it is a revenue maker for the State as there is a fee for visiting the park. Please if any Wisconsin State Senators read this, put you pen to paper and get the ball rolling to save this landmark before it is too late.

this is a staple for tourism and we folks who live here year round...It should be re-built so that we can enjoy the views, it's part of what Door County is about..

This is an important landmark - historic, educational, recreational. It would be short-sighted and foolish to tear it down. Repair and maintain the tower, please!

Our family loves Eagle Tower. We love to climb it annually, it is such a treasure and breathtaking view.
