I have been visiting/camping in Peninsula Park since I was a kid (Boy Scout). Well over 60 years. We still camp in the park at least twice each year, often for two weeks at a time. One of the high points of each stay is visits to the tower. This treasure must be repaired or replaced, and not just removed and forgotten. It means so much to so mant as a symbol of the park and its natural beauty. Since the state can find ways to fund other projects, such as the bucks arena, they must find funds to save this historic treasure and part of our history.
