I would like it best if the current town could be saved and restored, but at the very least there needs to be a replacement. Eagle Tower helps families create memories, and even traditions. How can we just take that away!?
If we dont save the things that are most loved about our beloved county, how can we expect to continue to grow and thrive?

Make Eagle Tower a historic landmark! I used to vacation with my family in door county every summer growing up. Now that I'm older, I took my family up there to keep the tradition alive. I was deveistated to hear it was closed with no intentions of reopening it. After talking to the locals, I realized how much the tower meant to them and their families too. Please fix the Tower!

It is important to save historical locations and structures in Door County. I never had the privilege of climbing Sven"s tower, but I have climbed Eagle Tower almost every year since the late 1930's. If the CCC was able to restore it three times, the park traffic us up, and the fees have increased, it seems to me that restoration should take precedent over some new projects. Eagle Tower is a wonderful overlook which cannot be appreciated any other way.

I grew up in Door County every Summer by White Fish Dunes, on Lake Michigan. Going to Peninsula Park and climbing the tower was always the highlight of our picnics on the beach, our walking in the woods, and driving around at dusk trying to spot the wandering deer. The tradition of the Tower is paramount. Not rebuilding would be like renaming Lambeau Field ! Please hear all of us who have the fond memories, and want them to pass on to our future generations.

I cannot believe that there would ever be a consideration to remove this tower..It is the main attraction at this park - I climb it every year and take friends with..

Eagle Tower is an iconic part of
Penninsula State Park and has been an annual pilgrimage in my family and many others for at least 3 generations

PLease Save the Tower! I cannot imagine visiting the park without taking in the breathtaking views from atop. It is a shared experience that bonds generations of families together!

My grandson and I had a wonderful time both on the tower and in the park. I couldn't imagine the place without it.
