Please support us to reverse the decision to close down theLAAC(Looked After and Adopted Children) Psychology Service atDudley CAMHS(Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services). This service provides dedicated therapeutic support for looked after and adopted children in the Dudley borough as well as support, consultation and training to parents, foster carers, social workers and other professionals.
This service will close by early summer 2013 (date to be confirmed) unless we can apply pressure, on Dudley Children’s Services and Dudley & Walsall Mental Health Trust, to alter their decision.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have stepped up to help save this service. We are nearly at one hundred signatures and I know that reaching that mark right now will really show the council that we are not going away.

This is a vital service that has supported me and my adopted son. It is important that it remains open whilst I need it and that may be for many years - the next 11 at the least.
My kids need this help so much. Taking it away now would be a disaster for so many struggling families in Dudley.
Foster carers rely on this support. Without it we are left with no help at all. Really hope they change their minds.
The psychological support here is too important to lose. Please keep the funding going.
THIS SERVICE IS A LIFELINE. DONT CUT BACK ON THE MOST VULNERABLE KIDS IN THE BOROUGH.
