Not only do the people of Dublin deserve this service, the whole country needs it. Follow the footsteps of the american fire/ems idea. More Firefighter/Paramedics means more lives saved. What price can you put on a life???

If it's not broken don't fix it.. They may not meet HIQA standards but with the right funding and full control they can do the job! DFB

The people of Dublin deserve a good standard of service and if the HSE think they can expect the hard working personnel of the NAS to do the same job with less resources then they are mad.

Leave well enough alone. The dfb do a great job as fire fighters and as paramedics. If hse took over the ambulances the money needed to train paramedics could be put into other hse programmes as the dfb are already ready trained and experienced
