the lads do a fantastic job and are what make the system work. why ruin a perfectly good service?

Only for the Dublin Fire Brigade ambulance personnel my son would not be alive today after a RTA which left him totally paralyzed with a C2 neck injury, the lads that night did trojan work to get him out of the upturned car and got him to the hospital. I never did get a chance to say thanks to the crew from Kilbarrack. It is now almost 10 years now and my son is doing well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving my darling son his life back. You will never know how grateful I am. Dublin needs each and every one of you. A very grateful and thankful mother. xxx

I have email my councilors, lets hope the people who make these decisions listen to the voice of Dublin City and make some sense. Dublin fire and Rescue do a great job!

This really is the last straw, why want to take away an ambulance service that works, the DFB have provided a SUPER Service in Dublin city for years. The people of Dublin cannot allow this to happen we all need to Stand behind the Dublin Fire Brigade and support them 100%

looks like the Road to privatisation to me! Get it back to give away. allot if countries are trying to get what we have as its proven to be the best model in Ems.

DFB do a great job in the city they provide an excellent service let DFB look after the city and the HSE look after the rest of the country.

This is madness trying to take away an ambulance service that works they should give the DFB the whole ambulance they would run it better than the HSE .
