HSE will make an absolute screw up of the ambulance service as they did with everything else they took over

I'd rather be picked up by DFB knowing they are trained personnel, than the HSE who are mainly just drivers !

Let the highly trained and dedicated DFB paramedics continue to do their job. Pay them a fair wage for putting their lives on the line to save the lives of others every day. Thanks to all the wonderful members of DFB. May God protect you all!

definitely should remain under the control of dfb. hse are completely incapable of managing this service, shown by their complete incompetence in managing so many other areas, no disrespect to hse front line staffb who unlike their superiors are hard working professionals. .

I feel this is an essential service and as such should not be tampered with if anything the government and Health minister should be trying to think of ways to improve the Paramedic Service and Dublin Fire & Rescue Services.

The whole thing is a disgrace - Please save Dublin Fire Brigage Ambulance Service!
It is terrifying to think that more ambulances are being taken off the road when they clearly needed. its bad enough the ambulances that have already been taken off the road with out notification to the public. its more ambulances this country needs not less. How about paying politicians less. or get ride of a few of them. Save a bundle on that

we would not only loose the ambulance service but also the fire Brigade specialist Paramedics ,, All firefighters are registered Paramedics with the Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council standard. Two Advanced Paramedic vehicles also operate on a part time basis at present with Advanced Paramedic interns from around the country travelling along as part of their internship with Dublin Fire brigade Advanced Paramedics.
