Vital service. They do an amazing job every day and I can't seem to understand why there's cuts proposed?

We would take this opportunity to appeal to the Dublin City Manager Mr. Owen Keegan to withdraw any plans he has to make cuts or any change to our ambulance service. The Stardust tragedy occured 14th February, 1981, 33 years ago, Dublin fire brigade were magnificant in there role of transporting fatalities and victims to the hospitals and the morgue, I personally think it would be disastrous if any cuts or changes were to be made to the services by D F B as they are of great importance to Dublin,. I ask Mr. Keegan what are his proposals if he goes ahead with his review, and if we ever have another tragedy to the scale of the stardust fire, what are his proposals, as back in 1981; the scale of that tragedy we didnt even have enough ambulances, we had taxi drivers volunteering their services free of charge to transport victims to hospials. We support DFB 100% any proposals to do review and cuts to this service will be disastrous and could very well lead to a lot of deaths which would be unlawful.. Antoinette Keegan
