DFB plays a critical role in providing paramedic support in Ireland, let's not do further damage to the Public Health Service by removing this critical service

Allow Dublin fire brigade to contuine the amazing work they do, I wouldn't trust the HSE to run anything properly never mind a life saving service such as ambulance service.

An absolute disgrace that Dublin city council think nothing on spending god knows how much on this proposal for a directly elected Lord Mayor that no Dubliner gives a sh*t about and yet they are willing to do away with this service provided by Dublin fire brigade to save a few pennies. What a complete and utter joke.

Why fix something that's not broken? HSE are already over stretched and response time is poor (through no fault of paramedics) great job being done by both DFB and the HSE ambulance service. Typical government wanted to cut costs at any measure, and them cuts will cost lives!

every time we have had an emergency at my hospital they have arrived in double quick we would have been lost without them
