If DFB Swords didnt have an ambulance my 34yr old wife would be dead today. They saved her after a cardiac arrest last year.

If the HSE take over the ambulance services there arepeople who won't make it because their responses to emergency calls wouldn't be as quick. An ambualce saved my life 2 years ago and if I know I wouldn't be alive today if they hadn't been so quick.

Ridiculous idea by people who do not appreciate the service provided by the Dublin Fire Brigade. What happended to putting people first? Is this just lip service?

I lived in Donnybrook across from the fire station for many years and witnessed the promptness and professionalism of the DFB at all hours of the day and night on so many occasions.

HSE are struggling enough to cock up their crrent comitments, DFB service is one of the best in the world and other areas should learn from them and apply their practices. Peoples lifes are at stake.
