A disgraceful situation that should never have been allowed to get this far by a man who should never been placed in a position where he could attepmt to inflict such hardship on the citizens for whom he is supposed to serve !!!

We could do with a similar system in Cork as it clearly is proven to save lives.

Dublin would be lost without the DFB fire and Ambulance.. There is no possible way the current Ambulance Service would be in a position to deliver the same level of service or guaranteed response.. It ain't broke so LEAVE IT ALONE!!

Our ambulance system works fine as is. The DFB save so many lives each year - why fix what's not broken?

absolute disgrace that they can even think about minimising the service when its running at minimum services already. more vehicles and service people should be provided to the service

If it is working and it is and has as long as I can remember . Then leave it alone. There are some things that should not be touched no mater what the cost

Why get rid of such a professional vital service? It appears that the HSE is worried that the DFB is providing a better ambulance service than it could ever hope for. It seems after fecking up the country's hospitals, they now want to destroy the best ambulance service in Dublin!
