Dublin Fire Brigade provides the citizens of Dublin with an EMS service that is 100% appreciated, is the envy of people who live in the rest of the country, and has been copied by other advanced Fire Services. It is no coincidence that Dublin City has the 2nd best out ome in the world for cardiac emergencies. Far from loosing this wonderful service to the decrepit HSE, Dublin Fire Brigade should take over the emergency ambulance service for Dublin and the surrounding counties. This is a cause dear to many people's hearts, the HSE have not instilled a lot of confidence in people these past few years, so let the people have the choice
If the hse go ahead with this ridiculous plan it will be a disaster. Please don't make yet another bad decision that will have a negative impact on the lives of normal Irish people!

Dublin Fire Brigade provide an excellent ambulance service to Dublin. DFB are the ones you want to see coming if something is wrong and in my experience they are eminently capable and always of the highest standard.

We see how the HSE runs the ambulance service in the rest of the country on Prime Time the other night. Managers using ambulances for personal vehicles whilst people die getting to the hospital too late due to ambulances not being available for emegencies. Keep this well run service in Dublin by the Dublin FB. Keep this out of O'Reilly's incompetant and greedy paws.

Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) have been providing an Ambulance service to the citizens of the city and county since 1898. All Firefighters in the DFB are also paramedics and they rotate between fire and ambulance duties.
