Owen Keegan we don't get recognition for being 2nd best in the works for a lot in Ireland. To throw this away would be farcical. There's plenty of other ways to save a quick buck. Investment in health and well-being of Dubliners should be your priority and to continue investment in the fantastic staff of DFB will save money in the long term health budget. I know that's not your department but for too long the non joined up thinking in this state has cost is more then individuals attempt to save my making nonsense cuts in services to make their own bottom line look good. This is your chance to do something good for your city. Our city.

My dad was in the fire brigade for over 30 years and being on the Ambulance shift was a vital role in Dublin and without that in Dublin will be nothing short of disgraceful so I show my support to all men and women in the fire service to keep the Ambulance service a big part of there service.

My old man died from cardiac arrest 23 years ago. It took nearly 30 minutes for the ambulance to get there. No fault of the paramedics, just lack of resources and now they want to push it back into the bureaucratic beast of the hse!??? Madness. The dfb is a vocation not a job, let them do it.
